(4) Bamboozled presents the Comedy Festival -A Good Laugh!

A Good Laugh is hitting the road, playing at the Cheese Factory Studio Gallery, Meadows with a rolling lineup of sharp, playful and downright funny performers. The festival brings a mix of seasoned pros and fresh voices together for nights of big laughs in small places. Each show is different, each town brings its own flavour, and no two nights are quite the same.

At its heart, A Good Laugh is about bringing people together, activating regional spaces, and creating shared moments of laughter – because life’s a bit bonkers and we all need a good laugh! So grab your mates and settle in for a night of cracking comedy, good company and a proper laugh.

(5) Atkins Farm – Visit Atkins Farm’s glasshouse cottage for a special Mother’s Day pop up farm gate shop, featuring beautiful seasonal flower bunches, alongside the blooms, we’re bringing a thoughtfully gathered edit of farm favourites: including local honey, SA-made sunflower earrings, handmade soaps, and

(19) Come & Try Bush Action Team Day –  Discover the joys of caring for some of our most precious habitat. Stringybark Reserve is a beautiful open Stringybark Forest, an eco-system which is in sharp decline in the Adelaide Hills. This highly diverse forest hosts over 130 native plant species and it is a haven for woodland birds.  At this event you can actively support this site by removing invasive weed species. No prior skills or knowledge required as all training and equipment is provided on the day. There is some bending involved as well as walking short distances over uneven ground. Saturday 10th May 9.00am – 3.00pm. Bookings essential for this free event. (20) Echunga Trading Co –HOME. GARDEN. FARM- We are just bursting with rustic and diverse works of local artists, interesting garden art, timeless antique gates and a huge selection of rural suppliesfeeds and fodder. We even do a great locally roasted Coffee and cake or light lunch which can be enjoyed in our new leafy outside area or by the fire on the chesterfields.

(21) Crystal Lake Sculpture Park – Crystal Lake Sculpture Park, nature park, home to International Sculptor Yoshin Ogata’s Macclesfield marble sculpture “Watersong” and the Adelaide Hills Ceramics workshop and Gallery, which will be open on Battunga Weekend 10-3pm. (23) Macclesfield Literary Festival. The inaugral Book Festival for book readers, local writers, local books. (24) Macclesfield History Group – Paddy’s Irish Bush Dance –  Just good clean fun as we celebrate the early Irish settlers of Macclesfield with music and dance moves called by the Wild Matildas’ Bush Band. We are a part of the SA History Festival and are supported by the SA History Trust. Supper is included.  Sat. 7.30pm – 10.30pm. (26) Macclesfield ANZAC Memorial Garden A beautiful native garden laid out to provide a place of commemoration and contemplation. The garden is filled with memorials, artworks and a walking trail to pay tribute to the men and women of the Macclesfield District who have served their country.                      Free Guided Tours of the gardens on the hour is a sensational experience.  Sunday 10am – 2pm. (27) Longview Vineyard  –

Mother’s Day lunch at Longview Vineyard! Treat someone special to a delightful day, surrounded by breath-taking vineyard views, delicious food, and exceptional wine in our Heritage barn & veranda. 

Our team has carefully crafted a mouth-watering four-course shared menu, featuring some of our all-time favourite dishes. Enhance your experience with our award-winning Longview Wine, available to purchase on the day. All mums will receive a glass of Fortuna Sparkling Nebbiolo on arrival.
